We are working on Joining the Apple news app.
We have applied and submitted 3 blog post which apple is now reviewing and will get back to us as soon as possible. Currently we have no word on when we will know if we were accepted or not but for now, we will have to wait. Which us the best! If we are accepted we will have a dedicated Apple News page where our post will be available as well as links for non-iPhone users. Here's a snip-bit of what we will be releasing as soon as we are accepted. After Dom Hofmann released his tweet announcing vine2 thousands of tweets spammed all vine related account's because they wanted to make sure Jake Paul would be banned from the vine2 app. Poor Jake. A petition titled : " Petitioning Logan Paul Keep Jake Paul off of Vine 2" has now gained over 7 thousand signatures! The rest will be availabe on the Apple News app if we are confirmed by Apple.
The OFFICIAL Vine 2 site has been launched! v2.co
Currently, the site has nothing available but is supposedly going to launch very soon! This site is 100% official. It was released by @dhof / Dom Hofmann.
This tweet was followed by another tweet :
More info will be available on our site vinetwo.com soon after this post.
Dom Hofmann ( @dhof ) has officially released a public statement about an official v2 account. Vine 2 has no official twitter page or instagram page. We are truly sorry for telling you that we believe @Vine2Creators was the official page. It was not. We truly are sorry.
We decided using Vine's original logo was boring and old, so we created one. Don't worry, we still are accepting logo submissions, so go ahead and submit a logo if your a graphic designer at vinetwo.com/submit
Were sorry for moving AGAIN! But we just got the domain vinetwo.com
All news will be posted here still, but can be found on the new site. Thank-you for supporting our account. A small insight into what the FCC just did. FCC guts Net Neutrality.Today in a 3-2 vote the FCC began the removal of Net Neutrality (NN) . In place of NN the FCC will propose Title ll Regulations. In a statement given to Wired the FCC chairman Tom Wheeler talked about his new plan to reclassify ISPs (Internet Service Providers) as "Common carriers". This will be found under Title ll of the Telecommunications Act. With the removal of Net Neutrality, ISPs can now block site's, slow competitors sites, or even charge you to use the sites. One of the biggest company's to take a hit would be Netflix. Netflix is one of the worlds largest movie and show streaming sites. In fact over 37% of consumers reported to have streamed something from Netflix on a weekly bases. Netflix also reported to have over 57 million subscriptions in the US alone. In 2014 ISPs such as Comcast and Verizon where throttling their customers who were using Netflix. This is what Net Neutrality tried to defend. Net Neutrality made the internet an even playing ground for all, small and large buisnesses. Now ISPs can control what you see, slow your speeds, charge you, or even block sites they don't like. ISPs can now charge large company's with lots of users more money for the band with that they use. This is why prices for subscription's and free sites such as Netflix, Hulu, youtube and more could cost more. For a detailed look into Net Neutrality and what the FCC just did go to https://www.nytimes.com/ What is Net Neutrality?Net Neutrality was a law passed by the FCC back in 2015 when the Obama Administration was in charge. Net Neutrality helped protect the public from slowed down or blocked sites because you used a site that your ISP isn't receiving money from. More on what Net Neutrality really is: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/14/technology/(shortened) What is the FCC?Federal Communications Commission: https://www.fcc.gov/about-fcc/what-we-do How could the removal of Net Neutrality affect me?How the removal of NN could affect you; www.politico.com/(shortened) When does this become effective?Currently, we do not know when it does go into effect, it could be today, it could be tomorrow, or even next week. But once in effect, you will not see the full power of the end of Net Neutrality till months later. Fact: Over 83% of the united states population would vote NO on the repeal of Net Neutrality. The FCC ( Federal Communications commission ) has proposed the repeal of Net Neutrality. If net neutrality is repealed company's such as (Comcast, XFinity, AT&T, VZW) and many others will have the power to charge you for using competitors sites. Not only that, they are able to slow speeds for sites, and ban sites all together. If you believe this will not affect you, you are wrong. The internet will be a complete different place. (Scroll down) #netneutrality Example: Verizon Wireless (VZW) own's the email provider and search engine Yahoo.com. Yahoo is Google.com's biggest rival, for this reason all VZW customers could have slowed down speeds when using google and sped up speeds when using yahoo. This is the best case scenario. Verizon could go a completely different route and charge you for every thing you lookup using their competitors site, Google or even ban google all together. Using netflix and Youtube could cost you an extra wad of cash every month and you may have slow data speeds when using the web. How and when it takes place: Tomorrow, December 14th 2017, the FCC will vote for the repeal of NetNeutrality. The five FCC members, yes FIVE will be deciding the feature of the internet for hundreds of MILLIONS of people. Please text RESIST to 50409 before tomorrow! TEXT RESIST TO 504-0912 people will be selected to begin testing the v2 application January 1st according to the Twitter account @Vine2Creators. (Scroll down) January 31st is supposedly the official release of the beta version of Vine2. This is not the official app, but the official public beta. We are still waiting on a response from Dom Hofmann. Subscribe to our news letter to get the latest information. Click HERE for newsletter.
